What could be a more fitting setting for a meal before the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo? The Signet Library, host to the Pommery Champagne Café Bar, is just footsteps from the Castle Esplanade and an informal dining experience here is a perfect accompaniment to the Tattoo festivities. Add award-winning food and drink by Heritage Portfolio and you have a Homecoming evening that you’ll never forget.
A sumptious dinner will begin with sharing platetrs of baked ricotta and parmesan terrine with basil and olive topped vine tomatoes, as well as houmous and charred vegetables, rich liver parfait, pickled vegetables and seasonal leaves, followed by a slow cooked shin of Scottish beef with poached summer vegetables, new potatoes and gravy of cooking juices. A truly splendid finale will be featured with lemon and lavender cheesecake pot, sweet beet and rosy meringues.
After your fabulous dining experience you and your guests will be escorted right to the door of the Royal Tattoo to enjoy the spectacular show. Give clients, staff or friends and family an experience they’ll never forget!
*Our Tattoo Packages start at just £75 (inc. VAT) per person which includes a Pommery Champagne cocktail on arrival, three-course dining menu and Tattoo ticket. Saturday Packages are £77 (inc. VAT). We cater for a variety of dietary requirements (please specify prior to the event).
